Bees play a very significant role for the survival of humanity, on this our planet earth by maintaining the ecosystem especially through cross- pollination. This one day course provides basic information for maintaining and managing the Apis Cerana Indica variety of bees in their beehive and the method of extracting honey. It also helps to rid people of their misconceptions about bees and their behavior. The participants are also introduced to the various govt. schemes under which subsidy is available to procure beehive colonies, if one wishes to produce and sell honey commercially.
